November of '05', my buddy Shea and I took another trip to my family's land next to the Mississippi river. This
was Shea's second trip there and I quit counting mine. Shea took a 10 point and I got a 5. My buck was bigger
and had a thicker rack, but Shea's had a much more even rack and looked good. It's a shame that we only get one week
a year to hunt there, but I better use the rest of my vacation to spend with my Wife and Daughter so I can keep hunting.
